This beautiful, beige metal Mezuzah case displays an exquisite design of small flowers, embellished with glittery silver details. The Hebrew text consists of the letter, “Shin,” which stands for “Shaddai,” one of the God’s name  and is an acronym for the Hebrew words” Shomer Dlatot Israel” which mean “Guardian of the doorways of Israel.” When passing through the door, tradition instructs one to touch and kiss the word, “Shaddai,” and recite the following prayer: “May God protect my going out and my coming in from now on and ever more.” As a final touch, the Mezuzah features a crystal in the middle.

Artist Lily Shohat lives and works in Israel, designer, and creator of Judaica and beautiful decorative accessories.
