This 7 branch Menorah is made out of 925 electroformed silver and is designed after the Knesset Menorah. With silver candle holders and stems decorated with small golden circles and rhombs, this Menorah also features symbols such as wolves and an olive tree. The base appears as a square adorned by small golden flowers and charming spiraling lines.
The Knesset, literally the “gathering” or “assembly”, is the unicameral national legislature of Israel. As the legislative branch of the Israeli government, the Knesset passes all laws, elects the President and Prime Minister, the cabinet, and supervises the work of the government. In front of the Knesset building, there is a Menorah sculpture created by sculptor Benno Elkan and donated to the Knesset in the 1960’s. Because of its stunning style, the Knesset Menorah’s design is commonly replicated.
The menorah base is made with polyresin and made by the electroforming silver technique.
