This unusual Shofar is made from an authentic ram’s horn and measures 35 centimeters in length. The sides of the Shofar are decorated with three pomegranates in red, orange, green and purple, overlaid with a dotted floral pattern. The pomegranates are accompanied by a series of thin gold lines and sit on a white background edged with gold lines as well.
The sound of the Shofar has been heard throughout Jewish history, most importantly during the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai. Today, the shofar is used on the Jewish New Year, when the unique power of that same sound awakens the soul and renews spirituality.
