Artist Yealat Chen, Israeli artist with Yemenite roots, has been an artisan for over 25 years. From her studio in beautiful Southern Israel, her unique work reflects her Yemenite background . A master craftsperson, Chen has developed the use of the alloyed zinc metal, called “zamak,” which she combines with stone and wood, resulting in the creation of stunning, high quality contemporary Jewish art.
