This modern rectangular mezuzah case is made out of aluminum and it shows the Hoshen positioned on a pink colored background.
Hoshen was a sacred breastplate worn by the High Priest and represent the tribes of Israel Above the Hoshen we see the Hebrew letter ‘Shin’ in pink, engraved in the metal.
The Hebrew letter “Shin” is the first letter of “ Shomer Dlatot Israel” or Guardian of the Doors of Israel” – one of the names of God.
